A life in the rainforest.
Elvis Stedman didn't choose Dominica's wilderness — he was born into it. Growing up in Laudat, the gateway village to Morne Trois Pitons National Park, the forest was his backyard. Today, it's his classroom, his office, and his life's work.

First Official Guide
Began guiding visitors to the Boiling Lake and surrounding trails, immediately discovering a lifelong passion.
Government Certification
Received official government guide certification with ID card — one of the most rigorous certifications in Caribbean tourism.
Botanist Training
Completed advanced botanical studies, enabling expert-level identification of Dominica's 1,000+ plant species.
Emergency Response
Certified in mountain rescue and emergency first aid — because safety is never an afterthought.
